I'm getting my exhaust rerouted soon and I need to know something. I'm gonna keep it with 1 cat and muffler but 2 tips like its now. I need to get it rerouted because the crossover is right under the tranny pan and I can change the fluid with it there. Do you get more power if it crosses over closer to the engine or further back like after the tranny?

According to the manual that came with the Summit cross-over I bought, the closer to the engine, the more power.

I had to install it just behind the transfer case because the only way of putting it closer would have been by lowering it, and I didn't want to lose ground clearance.
