I got my hands on some 3" flowmasters for my 350
I know I know way too big for low end torque /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
but... what if i ran 2.5 tubing and kept the 3" mufflers
any side effects.......good or bad /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

    thanks for your input

Id run 2.5" head pipes with 3" tails. Pretty loud unless u run a balance pipe. Also the balance pipe will help u keep some torque. Do u have headers os manifolds?

Running a single 3" exhaust pipe with one of the 3" flows would be perfect. Sounds like you might already have a single exhaust. Just upgrade to 3".

    I'd drop down to 2 1/4 or 2 1/2" pipe.....this is what I did with 2 1/2" Flowmasters 50 series with hedman headers.
