i want to replace my muffler and cat with something that flows/sounds better. Problem is it has to be CA smog friendly, any ideas? i was thinking of a flowmaster muffler, not sure if they have a hi flow cat.
question 2: has anyone needed to redo their crossover tube with a 3 in lift? the one that goes under the front driveshaft?

Flowmaster just sells mufflers. Dynomax sells the high-flow cat. I left on my stock cat but got them to put a Flowmaster 40 series single 3" inlet/ dual 2.5" outlet muffler on mine and bent new pipe for side outlet behind the rear wheels. Sounds great, some seat in pants power differance.
Your Y pipe (That's the pipe your talking about...) will be just fine with a 3" lift. It's the 6" lifts you sometimes have to worry about.
