I installed extended shackles in the front and the flip kit in the rear of my 88 k5(works great!) However, I am experiencing some clicking noises when I hit a bump at an angle when only one tire takes the hit..(noise is front and rear) could I have overtightened or under-tightened the shackles(front and rear)?
    help!
    thanks,
    Ben

Diagnosing a noise like this is really tough to do but the suspension hardware should be checked as part of the process. The front shackles should be tighted to 50 ft-lb, the rears to 90-110 ft-lb.
I'm not sure where to start with other stuff to check, just about anything can cause the noise so a pretty thorough check is in order. Wheel bearings, ubolts, swaybar mounts, steering box bolts, etc, etc, etc.
I know this is kind of vague but I hope it helps.
