Whew, got the F*rd shock towers installed and the 5012 shocks. Very cool looking setup. I cant wait to see how it works. The rear UAV setup is next on the list!

Good job. I too just finished the front towers and the rear set up like Steve's too. I went with the ProComp shocks. Basically the longest they make. I flexed it out today with just the rears installed and they work perfectly. I'll be flexing it out with the fronts on tomorrow. Can't wait to see how they are gonna do.

What angle did you guys set the rears up at? or did you just ball park it.

I pretty much ballparked it. My rears ave 13 1/4 inches of travel and I positioned them so there is about 5 3/4 inches of the chrome rod showing. That basically places them about 5 inches apart at the top.

Well, I havent done the rear yet. My plan for them is to run a piece of 1x2" square tube across the top of the frame rails side to side, and bolt the shocks to it. If the alignment is right fore/ aft. The front mod took me approx 2 hrs. Was super easy. As for pics, the write up that I followed is posted under "project Vehicles/ UAV" Along with a story on how to do it.
