I thought I saw a write up here a while back on using shock towers from an F250 on a Blazer to get extended shock travel. Can someone lead me to that write up, or explain it to me?... or tell me where to find a set of these front shock towers?

If you don't come back dirty, it wasn't much fun.

if you cant find the mounts at your dealer, try this:

    <a target="_blank" href=http://www.partsmike.com>www.partsmike.com</a>

    That's where I got mine.

    Here's steve's writeup.

I just got a pair for around $30 from the local dealer. Do a search, the part numbers have been posted repeatedly on several posts in the last 2-3 weeks. I'm told the application listed in the article is not correct, you need the part number but they can still get them.

Here, I went ahead and looked it up for you: E5TZ-18183A

Search for "Ford Shock" and choose the "AND" option (not entire phrase).
