I have an extra throttle body I was going to sell. Its pretty nasty looking. Its been taken apart and washed in solvent but still looks pretty bad. Is there something I can clean it with to clean up the normal oxidation and clean out all the crud in the cracks and crevases. I just want to make it a little better looking to fetch a better price

I've always had great luck with aerosol carb cleaner. But none of my stuff is oxidized. Gotta love that road salt! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Soak submerged in carb cleaner over night, work on it with a wire brush, or toothbrush. They buy some silver carb paint and make it look real good!!! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
