    my screen saver didn't come on for some reason and now I have ghost images of my desktop icons in my monitor. the damn screen saver was suppose to come on after 20 minutes idle time but didn't :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: .

    anything to correct the problem?

    oh, 17" LCD HP monitor.

    Turn everything off and back on again. Then unplug it and plug it back in.

    I still have a CRT monitor . The more modern ones don't suffer screen burn in like they did in the 70's and 80's :thumb:

    New stuff came out ( LCD , HDTV , rear projection , Plasma etc ) for televisions and computer monitors , and old problems came back LOL
