Damn, get it in the regular cab version if it's offered with a short bed (which I doubt), slap on a lift with some 36 or 37s, some body protection and that thing would probably be a nice little weekend warrior. I wonder what axles it has in it, now that Dodge uses AAM.

Yeah, I got that, but they aren't Danas. I'm saying, I wonder which of AAMs axles it's using.

So if it's got an 8 lug 10 bolt in it, you'd be happy with that? /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Its cool, except for this- "The 345-horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI Magnum V-8 is the only available engine."

    I dont want a hemi, i want a Cummins.

AAM makes new style front AND rear 14 bolts. Good stuff. They only drawback is the new fronts were NEVER designed for locking hubs. Its all unit bearing and the outer axle needs to be torqued down just like a FWD car axle. Selectable lockers required . ( I read everything I get my hands on /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif ) /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

Looky here AAM Driveline/Chassis page Seems 9.25 is the smallest solid (salisbury) front axle made now. This truck may force all the Big 3 into making options for "us" available /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

All Ram 2500 and 3500s come with solid axles though, the 1500 is the only one with the IFS. So this one has lockers which is still cool, but it's not like this truck is special just because it has a solid axle up front.
