I am fabricating my pop up windows right now. I got everything I need except the window to top hinge. Any ideas? These are going to be awesome! Theyre gonna open all the way up to the top and lock when down with one lift mechanism that will be accerible to the rear passengers. Just thought I would say what I've been working on and ask what you think would work for the actual window hinges.

Might see if there is a topper company near you and see if you can buy the hinge they use on pickup shells. The way most are made they are made to run the water to the ends when open so that would be a nice feature. will also be aluminum so no corrosion problem. They retain with just a screw. With that screw out they are easy to remove. Open, take loose the suport and slide it right out.

Are you doing the rear window as a "flip-up" type? I am in the planning stage of this right now and am thinking of the topper type hinges. Using lexan?
