I know alot of you guys are going for the crawl over anything lifts, etc. Cool as that is, I'm going for mostly factory on my 72 Blazer resto. Can anyone tell me how to determine if she's at the right height? Where are the measurment points on the chassis? What should the height be? Is it the same front and rear? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I really don't know about the "official" measuring points. But the main concerns should be the axle pumpkins, which are the lowest points of all the Blazer. This is not affected by lift kits, only by tires size. Many people here install lift kits so larger tires fit, in order to increase this clearance. The most important factor is driving skills.

The other important spot is the transfer case, which hangs lower (at least my 79 does). I don't think you can do anything about it, except driving carefully, especially on the top of hills.

    Good luck.

Thanks for the reply, but what I'm actually looking to find out is if my suspension is squatting, and/or level. In other words, what is the spec for measuring from the ground to the chassis?

    Try this site: http://www.slosh.com/cars/brochures/
It has scanned pictures of old brochures, etc. Looks like total height for '72K5 w/4x4 & hardtop should be 72.1" Some of the data is hard to read, but still cool to look at.
