I'm wanting to cut the wells out of my factory shackle hanger and flip the shackle. From what I can figure, this seems like it would give me 8" of lift. Has anyone done this and how much lift did it give. I've got 8" springs all the way around, but the rears are too stiff and I can't keep a spring pack bolt in the longer than 3 months. Somehow they keep shearing off. It gets old having to unbolt the springs just to replace these. Let me know what you think.

You only get 4" from a shacle flip. I did the homemade flip on my 82 K5. It gives a good ride. Id sell the 8" rears and get a set of 4" rear springs and the shackle flip.

That's what i thought i had read. These rear springs are too stiff for me. Makes me feel like i'm riding in an unloaded 3500.
