I was looking through a 1980 Chevrolet Blazer sales brochure that I just bought and it had a factory softtop listed as an option. It looked quite a bit like the kayline, canback tops. My question is has anyone seen one in real life or does anyone have one and is this what canback and kayline based theirs on?

So, which one of you is the brains of the operation?
To tell you the truth it's not exactly a "brains" type operation.

I saw a rare original factory soft top (blue) on e-bay last year, wanted to buy it just for the novilty, but didn't get the high bid.

I would like ot see one. Wonder if the dealerships could get these in and how much they would be? Although it is probably a discontinued item or would could twice what a Canback would.

I have a request into Bestop for pictures and literature on the Blazer tops. As soon as I get something I will post it.

Steve have you ever heard an estimate of how many were actually sold or do you know what years they were produced?

I think they were discontinued in the early eighties. That's about all I know.
