Just tore my steering all apart on my K20 today.... looking for the cause of the "bind" that it would get occasionally. Ended up being a very screwed up stabilizer. I cant even push this thing in or out. And it rattles inside. Just thought id share this in case anyone else is having similar problems.
I also tried to reseal the leaking steering gear box, man, what a pain.... how do you get all them little balls back in place ?

    Tori,

So they found it. Sorry .... doesn't sound like much left!

The steering box? Sorry dude ... I just bought a rebuilt one!

And that doesn't sound like much fun ...

    Good luck

Yep, they did find it, earlier this week... i am going down to LA today to look at it, and get the details along with some pics. I will fill the list in on Monday nite when i get back in and post pictures to my webpage.
.....and ya.... i got a rebuilt box too, but thought i could figure this one out and fix it since it only leaked. Was hoping i wouldnt need the rebuilt one and could save myself some $
