fan shroud

    Help my 80 Blazer is without a fan shroud and its getting REALLY hot here in Phoenix. Every thing is new and in traffic the temp. climbs to 230 plus does any body know where I can get a shroud that fits 19in radiator new or used. Thanks All Jeff

    Its time to lock them in!

    Try 40th street auto wrecking, or there's another good one out in Maricopa, but I can't remember the name of it.

    Summit racing sells universal shrouds.-They're chrome- They have a picture of one on their website. About $40.
    I used to live in Phoenix. 9 St and Bell before we moved to a crappy little town called Memphis TN. I went to GCC.

    You might also try a differnet Thermostat. Sometimes a 180 stat lets the coolant move too fast and it doesn't have a chance to sheed heat in the radiator. It sounds backwards but a 195 stat you may run cooler.
    I helped a bud with a SB400 that he could not keep cool. finnaly we tossed a 195 in it and the problem went away (this was long ago but many sources since then confirm this).
