Is slightly undercooked bacon dangerous to my health? It's the smoked kind.

I made scrambled eggs with elk sausage, cheese, and I decided to throw in some bacon. By the time everything else cooked to the farthest point I like, the bacon is still pretty squishy and if it's cooked, it's barely cooked.

I don't want screaming ass-demons for the next 4 days!

Bacon undergoes a curing process with salt, between that and smoke you should be fine....

The first few bites of bacon were good, after that it was like eating raunchy hog-squid. I'm trying to pick it out now.

Yeah, I gave the rest to the dog, who's already fat. Don't think I'll be putting bacon in again.

Got to be very careful with any kind of pork. You can get sick easy if it is not cooked well enough.

    Bacon!-Bacon!-Bacon!...

I usually get the "pre cooked" Oscar Myer bacon, you only need to neuke it in the microwave for 30 seconds!..comes out perfect every time!..MMMM!

If I use "regular" bacon in the 1Lb slabs.I put it between 2 moistened paper towels and microwave it for one minite, and then peek and see if its done enough..it comes out crispy that way too..I hate squish "squid" bacon, like the peice my mom put in the green string beans while they were cooking..BleecK!..that'll give me the hershey squirts for days!~ :haha:

you'll be fine, unless you have a wimpy system. that's the way I eat my bacon. I don't like it real crisp, prefer it slightly brown but still soft.

That's the way I like mine too, but this stuff was no where near that. I may as well have pulled it from the package, put it on the chair, surfed CK5 for 10 minutes, then have eaten it.

    *update*:

(The next day) I don't know if it's from the bacon, but I have gas like I'm dying inside.
