    \"Fastest Finger Question\"!!! - U-Bolt Torque Spec...

I'm always amazed at how FAST people can answer almost any question on this board....so here's one for you guys:

I installed a U-Bolt reversing kit on my 12-Bolt last night (U-Bolt points UP, and threads are on TOP)....the 1972 K5 Factory Service manual states that U-Bolts are torqued to 120 Ft-Lbs....

Is 120 Ft-Lbs still the right value for U-Bolts....even if they're this newer style mount? It's kind of a CRITICAL part of the truck, so I'd like to know I used the right torque spec!!!! [IMG]

.....alright I'm starting my stopwatch NOW, who's gonna answer first? [IMG]

    120-140 sounds right for U-bolts...

I know Rene already replied, but I would like to second. I have mine at 140-150.

According to the Rancho Suspension instruction sheet, they show to torque the nuts between 85 to 110 ft. lbs. So, in my method, I would have done 100 ft. lbs.
