Fawkin wiper ghost

    My wipers are now at the stage where they just keep going.If I replace the wiper/blinker arm will they stop going on there own? /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

    I had a similar problem with my 68 Camaro. Ended up being the contacts in the motor housing were not disconnecting. I openned up the housing and bent the contacts out. I'm not sure how similar the wiper motors are between then and your year. Not sure if this helps but /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

    How can I dissengage the wipers,so they will not work?

    on my truck that was the plastic cam/gear that allowed a few wipes when the washer fluid was used
