    Fellow CK5\'er

I noticed many CK5'ers seem to be based in California, Washington, and Colorado, and some seem to have met, 4wheeled, and helped each other out, which I thought was cool. Last Friday I was at a junkyard and a real badass Blazer pulls in with all kinds of mods on it that I've seen on this site. I ask if he's ever seen this site, and he says, "Yeah, I'm JK5". It was great to meet a fellow CK5'er, right in my little town! He further proved his coolness by helping me out one evening with his torches (thanks again). I am in the process of converting my 1/2ton truck to 1 ton with the D60/14bff combo. Anyway, with the help and parts I've recieved from this site, and to actually meet some of the people, really makes this hobby enjoyable.

There are more than a few members in your area too. Emmettology 101, EDdaTREE are two that come to mind./forums/images/icons/cool.gif

JK5 and Emmettology101 both just competed at the rock crawl at Canfield recently...

Its a little slow going, the off and on rain showers on Saturday and Sunday slowed me down. This working out in the driveway is getting ridiculous, I need a garage! Back's a little sore from wrestling that thing under there, but it looks good, can't wait to try out 4:10 gears! I'll give ya a holler later!

I know where the some NC members are located, I just never have the time, reason, or petro to check them out. Although 91k5NC did come to my house today to pick up the front seats and fuel tank assembly. He and his dad drove a total of 4 hours this afternoon up and down I-95 to get this. Very cool.

Garages are over rated. I have one. And I still have to work out side. The dang truck doesn't fit in the garage.

My neighbor let me use his garage two years ago when I had a 4+3 lift and 33's, I had to roll the truck in on little P235's to get it in. When I build my garage, it will have at least one 10' tall door in it!
