CLASSIC INDUSTRIES HAS FIRST GEN FLARES IN THEIR CATALOG. HIGH PRICED, ABOUT $470.00 FOR A FULL SET. THE INSTALLATION WILL REQUIRE CUTTING SHEET METAL. WHITNEY HAS A UNIVERSAL SET PRETTY CHEAP, BUT YOU MAY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. IF ANYONE HAS SEEN EITHER OF THESE INSTALLED I'D LIKE THEIR OPINION.

Thanks a lot 72 Jimmy. I just saw those universal rubber ones on e-bay last night for like 50.00 I think. Sweet price but I also would like to see how they look first.

I have a full set of bushwacker fender flares still in the boxes if you're interested. bushwacker doesn't make flares for '67-'72 chevy's anymore but I bought these back when they did. I ended up going a different direction with my restoration so I didn't use them. if you want them, let me know.

Bushwacker made some for the 1st Gen's? Cool. Can you describe them in any way (color, how wide)? Also, what's the asking price? Thanks a lot.

If CHEVY409 does not want them, I may be interested. My questions are the same.

Actually Bushwacker does still make the flares for our trucks.. they are just listed under the pickup truck. I called up one of their distributors for a price last month. They still have em just ask.

If i remember correctly they quoted either 149 or 169 a pair. I dont remember exactly. So double that if you are doing all four corners. I decided not to do mine b/c I had to redo the wheelwhells anyway and am just going to fix all the rust out and redo it back to stock. HTH's

Hmm, I guess 150 aint all that bad, still more than I'd like to dish though. I'm putting a new style bed on so I'd only need a front pair of flares. Might give bwacker a call, would like to see what JoshA wants for his first though. Thanks Chris
