ok first of i have a 76 blazer
right now have the top off, and was thinkigna bout geting a wall tha makes it like a truck ya know, i was wondering if i could put a real tailgate in place of the one i have with a window in it?
second question im looking for a good body no rust, but what years can i put on my blazer? and will a truck body work on it off an older truck, or would i have to relocate my axles to fit the wells of the truck?

Truck tailgate is a bolt-in deal. A pickup body would work, but only if you bobbed the rear or went with a custom flatbed. The frame on K5's is alot shorter then a pickups.

you can use a pick-up cab from 73 to 87. i have a 79 blazer with a 86 cab. you don't have to move the front axle. you should try to find blazer rear fenders, the lower part of a pick-up bed between the rear bumper and the wheel opening is 30in. a blazers is 26in. unless you want to move the bumper back some. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gifto /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif
