I put a post on 2wd forum, hopefully he'll understand my ? I don't want stock replacements. I love the prerunner/baja look fenders. I also don't want to change my lift/tire combo. 70 1ton/k5, 4inch T.C., and 1ord body with 38.5 tsl's on bart beadlocks. It sits really mean over the tires but rubs really bad, have alot of ideas, just waiting on the cash$$$$

You could always save some $$ and just buy a sawzall[IMG]In one of the 4X mags a couple of months back there was a Blazer mith 38s or 39s and only a 4" lift with no rubbin.

Have you considered the Bushwacker cut-out flares? They have them for our Blazers... but you have to search for 67-72 Chevy trucks.

Link to cool blazer pic w/ fender flares... nice color too!

Do you have any pictures of your truck with the 38.5's on it? I would love to see them if you do. Thats the set up I was thinking about, but I have not seen it on a first gen.

    See Ya,
    Keith

One reason I want fiberglass fenders is to lighten the front end up a bit. I'll most likely get a fiberglass cowl induction hood to match but I haven't found the style I like. I had a website but it was wiped out, but i'm workin on a new one! I've trimmed the front lower portion and don't want to cut anymore but i will weld in a new section and sell the fenders to recoupe some$$$!

Again they only have stock replacements. But it might come down to getting a pair and cuttin them up! It's more fun messin something up before you even put it on the truck!!!

That is the truck I saw in OFF-ROAD a couple years ago that made me love that look. I can't believe it's the same truck. That truck is too cool. But I don't think my k5 would look right with the older front end on it. I love the look of the 67-68 but it's not what I want. Thanks so much for your help but i'm still going to look for the 69-72 so I don't have to change the entire front end. The search continues..........
