Some people love the movie and others hate it. Upon suggestion from another forum I picked the book up last night and will probably finish it tonight.

Has anyone else read it? Discuss.

I need to read it. The book almost always turns out better than the movie.

    I need to read

    1. A Clockwork Orange
    2. Fight Club
    3. Trainspotting

All three of those books have been recommended to me, as well. Chuck Pohloniak or something like that?

Chuck Palahniuk. Fight Club was his first novel that was originally published as a 7 page short story (that he sold for $50) that became chapter 6 in the book. He has since written Diary, Lullaby and Choke that have all gone on to become bestsellers. I think I will check them out next.

I read multiple books at the same time (also reading Where God Was Born by Bruce Feiler and Predator by Patricia Cornwell).

Don't mean to change the subject, but I just finished reading Black Hawk Down. What a great book! Much better then the movie. Once i finshed it, I went out and bought battle of mogadishu, it's the actual soldiers words, they had someone pen it for them, but you really have to appreciate the camaradrie and the will to fight just for the guy next to them! None of those guys considered themselves heroes, it's the guy next to them fighting for them that they considered heroes. A bit of an inspiring book. Sorry......just had to voice an opinion!
