My 71 Jimmy and 72 Blazer both have the filler on the drivers side. All the tank plumbing comes in there, as well. Saw a trick installation in a mag a few years ago where the filler was hidden behind the LS taillight, which was hinged at the bottom.
    Take care

Maybe it was some kind of downunder export model? They also had crossover windsheild wipers so the rihgthand position was better covered.

i was just wondering the other day why there was another place to mount a windshield wiper on the far fight side of the cowl. so they did ship blazer overseas? i never knew that.

it was under the cowl panel (in the actual air intake) where the windshield wiper posts mount. looked exactly the other two mounts. i didn't know why it was there.

I think they did make some RH drive trucks. I have seen a thread somewhere (67-72 board?) where people have converted LH drive trucks to RH drive, and used that wiper mount.
