Has anyone ever used it? I saw them putting it on a small block in Hot Rod mag. and figured I'd check it out. they want like $90 or something for it. I guess it makes sence but wanted to know if it really works. Haven't seen it on sumitt or jegs.

    $90 or 90cents?
any magnet stuck to the filter will attract metal shavings.
stick an old speaker magnet to the bottom and call it done.
next oil change cut the filter open to see what you find

People have been doing that for years. Just stick a old magnet on the filter its cheaper than buying one .
