Finally found the stupid \"POPPING\" Noise

I finally found my stupid irritating “POPPING” noise, it was the loose crossmember that the T-case mounts to. I found that if you don’t have EVERY bolt nice and tight it goes POP!, anyway I just had to share that!

Glad you found the problem. I remember from your original post it was a b*tch. It seems that keeping up to the squeeks, rattles, pops and clunks is a way of life and almost like a part time job.

I found mine too! Left side exhaust popping, had no idea what was going on, thought a valve was too tight, burned, or the cam was round. I thought the ignition was good, but it turned out the #7 plug wire was arcing. I finally found it, replaced it with a wire I had in the garage, and no more!
