Well.. it didn't take me long.. I said I was going to lift the truck.. but was going to wait til after Xmas. Couldn't wait that long. My wife is laughing at me.. saying it took less than one month to get the stock truck up in the air a little bit.
Anyway's.. here are the pics of the Black/grey 89 Blazer purchased Oct 5, 2002.
It is going to stay this way.. i swear !!!!!

Pro Comp ES 2000 Steering Stablizer

    Reddog..
The reason for the 2.5 is.. it's my daily driver now.. I want to keep it kinda mild.. but yet still aggressive looking. I'm pretty sure she'll stay at this height/tire combo.. But with a fresh paint job..
    Thanks..

Looks great Rocko! I like the 2.5" lift, but you know my philosophy "Least amount of lift with the biggest tires" LOL!

So when are the fender's getting hacked for 35"s? hehehe

    Thomas.

BTW: I've got that WinALDL cable for you at the house. I'll remember to bring it to work someday so you can grab it.

    It looks great
I have those some plans for my 88. She is my daily driver also.
Do you have any problems with the stearing, drive line height, or the gearing? What is the ring and pinion gearing also?

You may want to try it with the swaybar disconnected....I disconnected mine with the 2.5" lift, and it rides so much better!

    Looks great! /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

    Bsav..
No steering problems.. just off centered the steering wheel by about 3/4 inch..
The truck isn't very tight to begin with.. I'm sure I'll have to replace the wheel bearings and balljoints in the near future..
But other than that .. no driveline problems.. a little vibration by a worn u-joint.. this truck was bone stock when i bought it.

As for the gear ratio.. i dropped the diff cover.. it has 3.73's. It's nice and spunky when I mash the skinny pedal off the line..

    Bowtie..
I want to replaint it possibly the same color... but more grey..w/ black below the body side moldings.. w/ a black top. Kinda keeping it close to the same.. it has alot of oxidation on the paint now..
I think GM had a problem with their grey paint back then..
    But thanks for the comments..
    Thomas..
    No hacking this one...... hehehe.. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif
