Months and weeks have past since I started looking for a part time job. After dropping over a dozen resumes, I finally hit it. I had an interview at lunch Wednesday, and had my first day of orientation today.
I am a TLE technician (Tire Lube Express Technician) at the wal-mart in town. I have some training to do, but other wise it sounds like I will be out in the shop a lot, and ocaisionally on the floor in the automotive section.
I am very happy, I didn't have to resort to the fast food business.

    YAY!

    Just kidding, Steve. :rotfl:

That's great news, brother. You've been looking forever, and now you're in doing something automotive-related, just like you wanted. Next time I'm in town I'll stop by and say hello. Congrats, brother. :thumb:

i used to have one, actually all of my friends had shirts with our CB handles on them too. "Rebel" "Biggin" "Gopher" "Speedbump" "Fatround" "Beaner" and "Grease Monkey" used to wear them to the derbies, and looked all professional and stuff.

Oh, I forgot to add in it was Walmart... opps.

But yes, so far it is nice. The people seem nice, and im still in training for a while. It looks like I am working 19 hours a week, so I will see how that goes with my heavy homework load next semester. I am still adjusting to this whole huge business thing trying to find out who to talk to about hours and such. Eventually...

Thanks for the comments, I am very happy its finally come!
