Want to thank biggrey71, mudhog and Espen88k5 for helping me figure out how to scan this stuff in. I just hope it works!

Here we go. First pic is of my original "rusty rear". At this point, my hinges are rusted/rotted and not working and the tailgate is hanging on for dear life.

Posted some stuff a long time ago regarding rear tail pan replacement. Purchased the replacement panels and tail pan from JC Whitney. This is how it looked after seam-sealing.

Next thing I did was sand, prep and then roll on the durabak. After drying I placed on some birch panels I cut and stained to replace the rotting interior.

The tailgate is now fully functional and very happy with the results. I have some more repair pics too, if anyone wants I will post them. Let me know what you think.

You might want to scan them alot larger... I scan my pics large.. then reduce them with a program called ThumbsPlus..

Nice job! I know that was a pain in the butt! I just replaced the tail pan on my 75 a couple weeks ago. Thanksfully my floor didn't rot out like yours did. I too made my own tail pan. Just couldn't stomach the $140 that LMC wanted for a stock replacment. I made mine out of a 7 inch wide 2 inch tall U channel. Main reason for so wide was to get it under the rear legs of my roll cage.
Bet I got you beat on front floors for rust! check out the link to my site.
