If you have a pile of brush 8' round and 5' deep thats saturated in fuel soaked old shirts....Stand father back then 8' when flicking the match or prepare to have all the oxygen sucked out of your lungs when it lights... /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

I found out today filling an upside down beer tumbler full of butane, lighting it, then pressing down sticks it to a table

Every year I burn a slash pile out at my rec property, and every year the pile gets bigger and higher.....This year's pile is about 15' tall and 25' across!!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

I use a tiger torch to light the sucker, though. I learned the hard way about using "accellerants" as well. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

I still got all my eyebrows but it was the first thing I checked, found out later it gave me a mild burn though, like a real slight sunburn... /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gifIt made such a loud "WOOOOOOOMPFFFFf" that my wife came running out to see if I was still in one piece, she said it shook the whole house...hehehe It honestly sucked the air outta my lungs when it went...Weird... /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gifI need a little deisel and one of those torches... /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

I did something similar, soaked the pile with what I thought was a bit-o-gas and lit it with a propane torch.
My parents came running out, thinking something (car..) had exploded.
1 emergency room trip, 3rd degree burns, and 2 1/2 weeks out of school later, I learned not to play with fire & gas. (for about 6 mo... /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif)
