Well I bought my K5 in Nov. I put a new crate motor in it in Dec. I got about 2000 miles on it. Good enough break in. And it finally rained here. So I went out to play. I live on five acres of flat land.I have one little hill on it.That I need to disk So the weeds are up about 3 feet. And at the bottom of the hill is a Palm tree. That I hate. Will I came down the hill a little fast and locked up the brakes and sleed right into that F#*!K&N palm tree. Dented my front bumper pretty good. I don't think I did any frame damage. Looks like I will need to buy one of those S.E.C bumpers. And I am going to buy a winch to help me pull that palm tree out..........

When I got my '85 Jimmy in January last year it already had some dents and dings. The first ones I put into it were from wheeling up in the mountains that summer through some old mining towns. Me and my buddies were going down these terraces left over from a strip mining operation. I was doing good till the very last one, there wasn't anywere else to go but straight down the sucker and BAM! I tweaked the right of my front bumper into the sheetmetal, and the rear left too. Nothing you would notice if you weren't looking.

-if it's all dented up, you know it's not gonna be a big deal if someone tries to cut them off.......they don't care about another dent!!!!........I know I don't

I got a few "dents" on mine. Most of 'em came with it. But, I put a few goodies on my truck. One of the first months I started driving, I was backing up. I popped the curb with the front wheel and my entire passanger's side fender was pushed in inbetween the end of the wheel well and the door. Later, I was doing a K-turn at night, dead tired, and I slowly backed into a tree. My rear bumper was curved in on the drivers side. I really don't see anything wrong with dents, since my truck is an entire dent.. Now rot holes.. those are a pain.

When i bought my Jimmy 8 years ago, it was straight as an arrow. After 8 years fo wheeling, there almost isn't one straight panel on it!

One you get over that first dent, the rest are all downhill and easier to handle!

The first dent is the hardest. After that, you aren't as concerned. [IMG]

Hey Mike, I can relate! [IMG] after a while it just becomes the next dent [IMG]

Harry, I saw this tag line on another site and thought I'd share:

"If at first you don't succeed then skydiving is not for you!"

    [IMG] I love that one!

That's what I love about my Jimmy. I bought it and it had dents, and just about everytime I go out I add a dent, but I don't care. That's why I bought it to have fun and have a constant project. Then when i'm drinking beer with my buds every dent and scratch has a story.

When all else fails MASH the skinny pedal!

i had a dent in my door, but got it fixed when i got it painted. I added one in the back though, i was backing up in an alley and ran into a big plastic residental dumpster that was full of trash, and hit the corner of my truck on it.
