Living in Maine for almost two years now I want to add a Fisher snow plow to my 88 K5. I'm looking for a used one and found alot for full sized Chevy pickups from 73-87 but not alot for 88's. Would a Chevy PU plow work on a Blazer? And which year would work?

    If it breaks, upgade it.

I "believe" it will. The non-crew cab version of the pickup ended its production in 87, but the crew cab (maybe one other model) and the blazer did not change until 91. The front clips are identical as far as frame so I believe fisher plows that fit the 73-87 pickup will fit up to a 91 blazer or crewcab as well. Again this is what I believe to be correct. Others can agree or correct me.

The 73-87 Pickups are very similar to your 88 K5. The 88 GM trucks are the newer body style, so I doubt that a plow frame that fits one of those will fit your K5. I'll bet that one of those plows from a '73-87 model pickup will fit your 88 K5 just fine.
