    fittin 35\'s

my truck must have a body lift on it
but i can fit 33x12.5 with like an inch of fender corner cut out

    if i got me a 4 inch suspension lift...could i fit 35's no prob?

makes sense...2 inch taller tire, 4 inch taller suspension

How much body lift? I've seen 33's on no lift no cut fender trucks. w/ a 4" I cleared 35's fine w/ a little rubbing offroad, but not much. If you already have a small body lift 1"-3" an additional 4" suspension would definately clear 35"s. Check to see if theres a gap between your body and the frame supported by "pucks" Then youll know you have a body lift.

i run 5 inches of lift and 37s. i had to cut a lot of fender but nothing drastic. i mean the cut didnt interfer with my floorboard at all. i also have f*rd shock towers and 9012s so the tire gets up there pretty high but it never rubs.

I could flex out my K5 all the way w/ the sway bar connected w/ 33s and no lift but when the swaybar came off I would rub

I am running 33's with a 4" and have miles of room, I would think 35's would fit without any problem. My front fenders have been trimmmed a small amount so I can fit 35's when I buy tire next.

I run 33's on stock suspension, no body lift, and no trimming. So with a 4" lift 35s are doable

It all comes down to how much flex you have. I was running a 4" lift with a 3" body lift and it looked like I had gobs of room. Took the sway bar off and sliced up a tire pretty good. And I am running 35" tires, Rancho springs and Rancho RS5000 shocks, so nothing trick as far as my suspension goes. Be on the safe side and cut a little for good measure, esp the corner hanging down by the doors. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    I rub on 33's,4 suspension lift and 10 rims with 4 1/2 b/s
on full compression with the sway bar off. A little lower
    fender trimming is needed .

yeah, the tire literally fitting in the fender on flat pavement and the tires REALLY fitting are two different things. Gotta max out flex to know if it'll really "fit". Back when I have 4" of spring lift and 1" of body lift, I could rub 35s when the sway bar wa disconnected and I flexed it. Fender trimming solves all that though. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

with the anti-sway bar attached, 35s seem to generally fit on k5s with 4" of lift... but like i said, no sway bar + flex = ur prolly gonna have to trim a lil.

    1) just look at your truck see if it has a BL on it
    2) how tall are those 33s? how wide? don't trust the sidewall
    3) SEARCH, its only been covered a 1000 times
