    fitting 33\" tires

Does anybody know what brand a 33" tire would fit on a stock 71 blazer? I'm thinking of putting on 2in leafs in all the corners. What does all this envolve? longer shafts? dropped transmission support, longer shocks, i need all the details. If i do this what would be the biggest tire i could put on?

2" lift will fit 33X12.50s comfortably. 35s will not fit with less than 4". No driveshaft mods will be required with a 2 - 2 1/2" lift.

I also have 33's on my 72, ans they fit good no lift. However, there is a little less room then I would like for wheel travel on the serious trails.

I have warn down 33's on mine with a 4" lift. The front doesn't rub but the rear does.??? It all depends on how hard you drive it. I don't think that brand matters much (except that some are smaller than they say). Wheel offset makes alot of difference.

Depends on wheel size and offset. A friend has a stock height '72 with 8" Rally wheels on it and 33x12.50" tires on it and they fit for the most part (until he articulates it, then they hit). I have problems on a level road, turning the wheels from lock to lock with stock ride height and 32x11.50" tires on my 15"x10" wheels.
