Does anyone know where i can purchase an old Toyota FJ40. It doesnt have to be in great shape, just not rusted all to heck. I would rather have one with a hard top and without a v8 in it. I have been looking for a while now without much luck, so i thought that i might see if anyone out there knew where one in the area might be.
    Thanks,
    JC

There is a fine looking stock FJ-40 for sale here in Pensacola at the moment. I can drive by where it is sitting at this weekend and get a phone number for you .
I only saw it in traffic but it looked to be mid seventy's era and light desert tan in color with no visable rust ( I am not saying that there is none - just not any seen from the road ).

If I recall correctly the guy wants upwards of $8,300.00.
Its right up the street from my house.

Update - It is no longer there, don't know if it sold though.

I appreciate it, but that was a little too rich for my blood.

I know there is 1, maybe 2 off of I-85 going towards gaffney. They are on the interstate side going north bound behind a shop, about a mile before exit 90. To get to the show, you take exit 87 I believe, its Road 39 IIRC, go strait through the flashing red light then bare to the right, don't get back on the interstate. The shop is down on the left. Its been a few weeks since I've been up there, but if I find myself going that way I'll take my camera. They have been there for several years. Not sure if he'd sell them, but its worth a shot.
