    Flat Black K5\'s

I'm cleaning up my body, I took all the trim off an now the emblems. I sprayed the lower half of one of the rear panels flat black and it doesn't look bad. Now I'm thinking of spraying it all flat black since it would be cheap and I won't have to worry about scratches since that'll be an easy fix. I'm thinking it would look cool with some alloy finish rims like the challengers, 33x12.5's and 2.5" lift, oh and tint.

Does anyone have pics of flat black blazers and do you think it would look cool?

$1.99...too rich for my blood! I use the K-Mart $.98/can stuff. I tend to buy it by the case.

I really like the look of flat black. My rig could desperately use a new look. Other than being cheap, what are the advantages of this type of painting? How about disadvantages? Can you wash it (aka hose it off) w/o taking any of the paint off? Do you have to repaint it often?

Hey kris would reconsider painting my rig flat black if i were you. you know how hot it gets here and the flat black acts like a giant heat spong just soaking up those rays. trust me i've been there you don't wanna be stuck in traffic sitting in a flat black rig. i did that to an old toyota i had and holly sh!t did it get hot in there. /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif

Hey Chris, thanks for the advice. Yea, you're right flat black would be hot as a mudder flipper down here. Is there another color that would work w/ the flat paint kind of thing?
