I have Tuff Country 6" rear springs and I considered flipping the overloads to help them flex a little more. But my truck sits higher in the rear now that I lost about 150 lbs from bobbing the bed. So then I considered removing them altogether. I really don't use the truck to haul anything anymore. I'm open to opinions.

Some have flipped them and some have removed them.
You will get more flex either way, however, there is some concern without the overloads, you can bend the spring in the negative direction damaging them. I guess with the overloads flipped, you still can have the same problem.

I believe there was a post some time ago by "triaged" in the 1st gen forum talking about this. Try a search on "flipped overloads" or "overloads" and see what comes up /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
