    ok well i know i would rent a welder..is there a certain kind i should rent..and wear can i buy a sawzall? and the sealent that you put over the welds like they used in the factories? thanx

    Rent a small MIG welder with a CO2/Argon bottle. .023 wire works great on body steel.

    For sealer I used Silaprene. I just snagged a tube from work though. It's an adhesive sealer that stays flexible and doesn't shrink too much. You'll have to check around...

    Sawzall is a good tool, but IMHO a 4.5" mini grinder would be more versatile. They have regular grinding disc's as well as very thin cutting discs that work great at cutting through sheet steel. You can also get abrasive sanding discs from 36 grit up to 200 grit for finer work. I have a 5" Makita I really like...
