I am trying to salvage a floor out of an 80 to put in my 77 Suburban and I'm wondering if the wheelwells are spot welded to the floor. Is it easier to take the wheelwells out with the floor. TIA.

I disassembled a blazer and found the rear to be made similar to a pick-up bed, the side panel bolted on along the edge of the floor, but the wheel well was attached to the floor. Look up inside the wheelwell and along the edge of the floor, you might see the bolts that attach the sides. Like I said, I was dealing with a blazer, a suburban may be different.
