Fluid in a diff with a Detroit

    Should I put anything besides diff fluid in my 14b w/ a Detroit in it?

    I've always used 80-90 weight gear lube in mine. My detroit is still kicking! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

    Like Tori said, NO. There are no clutches in a detroit so there is no special lubricant needed like a clutch type posi would use.
