I was thinking about attempting to try and install lower gears in my older truck by myself but have been advised by everyone that it would be a mistake. Can someone please put together some documentation in the tech section?

The tech is out there on the web, you just have to look for it. Setting gears is not so much hard as it is time consuming. It requires alot of patience and attention to detail.
