    I've removed the trim that ran down both sides of my 1976 K5. How do I remove the metal clips , and the black adhesive ??? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

    3M makes a special adhesive removal wheel that fits in a drill for removing the black adhesive. The wheel can be purchased from an Automotive paint store. It's been a few years since I've removed the moldings, but if memory serves right most of the clips are attached with nuts on the back.
