Proposal. Please VOTE that the proposal goes too far. Believe me..it
does!

it sucks it realy sucks ..............up in NH where i live when not in school i hunt and fish all the time ........there are to many roads that i used to drive on that now have gates across them and the sighn that says "national forest land no motorised vehical's beyond this point ......foot travel welcome" or somthing like that ......it realy makes you up set to come across that ...... for a while people where ripping the gates out with there trucks but that is not the answer it only makes us "4x4 people" look bad ......last summer i came upon a new gate that was across a road that lead to a beaver pond that i loved to fish (native brook trout) mind you it was still a two mile hike through the woods to get to it but now its 12miles cause i cant drive in anymore .......i know of more places but that is one of the most recent ones .....we need to put an end to this ......what else can i do other than vote ......feel free to email me at paulcfh@nettaxi.com with any info .......this and guncontrol realy piss me off and its time i stop bitching and start acting

where the road ends the fun begins

Im right here with you "Brothers of the K5". [IMG]

You know, the thing I dont understand. How is it that every poll I see on the net; we lead in the opposal of the roadless proposition. But they keep closing the forest and "they" keep winning. Well, its because "they" dont care about this internet poll, its all about being there at the meetings so they can see you on a personal level. You have to get involved in your local meetings. We can do it!!!!

I'm with you Paul_cfh. All my fishing spots are miles from anything, let alone pavement, and now if I want to fish there, I have to walk far. I was told the area was closed because the ATV riders and dirtbikers trashed the existing trails and made new ones, it only takes a few @$$holes to ruin it for the rest of us

Best thing I can think of is to goto http://www.senate.gov and find your senator to write and tell them you enjoy using public lands and some of the best fishing spots are several miles into the woods and you need to drive there. If enough people do this then they will have to listen to us if they want to get reelected!!!
