Hey I'm lookin for a K5 as most of you know and our development is really gay and Im not allowed to work on my vehichle in the driveway! ! It has to be in the garage which is "ok" i guess since we have a 4 car garage but I was wonderin what the total height is for a K5 with 4" lift and 33" tires ? ? My garage door is 79" high so hope that works ! Or else ill have to trim the garage door with a Sawzall since I will be going higher . . . lol !

Uhhh, Slydog, that's going to be very tight. My Blazer (33", 4" suspension, 3" body) is remarkable higher than me, and I am 6'6".
But even with the 3" body lift deducted chances are that after Your lift you will really have to use the Sawzall to get Your truck out of the garage ...

All the best for Your work

I know it would be a pain in the a$$ but you could keep a set of cheap wheels and some realy short tires to throw on it so you could drive it in the garage.Just the wheels with no tires works too but it makes stripes on your driveway.

keep a compressor handy, when you want to drive it in let the air out of the tires. Once out inflate them.

I have a 3" lift and 33"s and it fits with a little room. Don't know how high the garage is, but when its on automatic its fine. When the door is on manual (the motor is broken right now) it rubs the roof. Luckily i have the top off, so i can reach out the window and push the door up. Screw the development, work on it in your driveway...if they say you can't work on it in your driveway, what about the street? Or the front yard? Or your neighbor's front yard? j/k

..............which is why I built my shop with 8' doors.............if ya put a door at the back of yer garage, then ya can drive thru to the shop in the back yard......j/k....I'm thinkin' the fit is close enough....might have to let some air outta yer tires.....JD

I'm at 10th and Plum....10 miles from nowhere, and Plum out in the sticks....Stuck?...Hell no..I still got some gas left..
