I have a '72 Blazer for sale. It's a complete truck minus the motor/transmission/transfer case and driveshafts. It was a licensed, fully functioning vehicle till the PO decided he needed the drivetrain for a different project. The truck is a clutch, non-AC version. The engine wiring harness did not get cut. The windshield and both of the door glasses are good. The PO did have a "brain fart" idea though and cut the topper to resemble the later version half cabs.

I would like to sell it whole- without chopping/parting it out. Around here, these first gens are getting somewhat rare. There is rust on this truck but not something that can't be repaired or replaced. The rust seems to be in the floor pans, rockers, door bottoms and front sections of the quarter panels. The windshield pillars, firewall, fenders and rear sections of the quarters seem to be solid.

The wheels and tires pictured are sold. I have some spare tires/wheels to install. The truck has a D44 front (with a flat top set) and a 12Bolt rear, both with 3.08 ratio. There is a lift kit of some brand installed. I suspect it to be a 4" lift (springs front - blocks rear). The clutch pedal and linkage is still installed. The crossmember was set in the rear of the truck.

I hold a clean Missouri title for the vehicle. The truck is located about 1/2hr west of St. Louis, MO. I would like the truck to be picked up but I could deliver within a reasonable distance for a small fee.

I don't want to put a starting price on this truck as I really don't know what it's worth.

Any reasonable offer will be considered.

I'm thinking about it Todd, depending how much you are wanting out of it. Keep me in mind if it doesn't sell by summer.

I'm not sure what it is worth either, especially with no eng/trans/t-case. Would you consider trading anything? Maybe PM me with a ballpark figure of what you hope to get for it, thanks.

Whoever cut-up that valuable single-wall top should be shot.....

Maybe just tell him that the top (before he "improved" it) was worth between $1000 - $1500, and watch him cry. That might be punishment enough.

I agree...although explaining the consequences of this guy's actions to him would be an absolute waste of time. To top it off, the drivetrain that was removed has never been used for a project and is sitting, rusting away.

There are probably several items that I could use.
Shoot me a PM of the items you have when you get a chance.

Tyler, if you are at all interested, call or PM me.

NADA says 3575 is the "low retail". The description for this:

    Low Retail Value
This vehicle would be in mechanically functional condition, needing only minor reconditioning. The exterior paint, trim, and interior would show normal wear, needing only minor reconditioning. May also be a deteriorated restoration or a very poor amateur restoration. Most usable "as-is".

Note: This value does not represent a "parts car".

I would maybe give a 1/3 of the low retail seeing as there is no drivetrain and there is rust, but that's just me. Of course I would come pick it up if I did get it. I'll call you sometime this week Todd.

    TTT.

I forgot to mention I have a roll bar (sport bar) for this truck as well.
It didn't come with this truck- I pulled it out of a first gen in the local bone yard.
I'll post a pic of the bar as soon as I can.

I am open to trades- full or partial.
    Send PM to talk.
