Roadtrip! Boulder's a fun place to visit...esp if you're single
Burblover is making a trip to AZ in September.
I'm coming to Tuscon over Labor Day. I could deliver somewhere along the route for a lil gas $$.
Yeah, what he said
Hey. I'm interested in the roof rack and the sliding rear windows. I'm just up in Longmont so I can easily pick them up.
PM me and we can figure it out.
Hey Nick! Is the tail pan basically a repair patch for the back portion of the bed floor? If so, I'll take it, and I'm local! Might even see you at Holy Cross in a couple of weeks? I may need the tail gate posts as well, I'll take a look tomorrow while I'm wrenching on Burblover's junk. Thanks, Rich.
Can I get pic's of these? are they clean and in good shape? Is it jsut the lenses or does it include the buckets? Shipping to Mesa, AZ 85202?
The Tail pan is the piece of metal that supports the entire back of the truck basically. It ties together the bedsides (via the tailgate posts), the tailgate (via the hinges) and the rear floor, via the rear most body mounts. It's a structural piece that if let to rot will reak havoc on your truck....basically pushed me over the edge to just ditch this body. Odds are if your floors are rotted, the tailpan is probably gone too.
Although FYI there is a sale pending on the posts already...but the tail pan itself you have dibs on.
Yea, I can get you some close-ups if those pics in the other post didn't do it for you. depending on how hard it is to get those buckets out will determine if they're included in the $5 price, I was just thinking the lenses, but if it's easy to get the buckets out then no prob, I could send those along. Of course I won't be able to take them off until I take the Blazer body off, so I'll let you know.
It is just 4 more screws per side. When are you planning on pulling your body? The reson I wanted more pic's is I wanted to make sure the lenses trim isn't all scartched up. Are they in good shape?
Ok, I will get you some pclose up pics. And as soon as another member replies to a certain PM I'll know when I will be removing the body. I'm personally hoping it is this weekend.
Roof Rack and Sliding windows are sold.
