    eBay auction for billet adaptor

This is something I would like to see the machine shop guys on this site make...some replacement adaptors that cannot be bought new from the dealerships anymore.

I've split two down by the "feet". If I get a digital camera (still waiting for the $$$ fairy), I will post pics.

I like that adapter. The only thing that looks "wrong" is the feet do not have the slight taper as the original (i.e. tilted down toward the back so the engine and t-case can sit angled slightly down toward the rear (Engine/t-case at an angle).

The stock adapters go for 2-3 bills so that price is on target. My only fear is it making the aluminum housing on the tranny the weak link.

I was thinking that if someone were to get serious and start making these adaptors available to the public, they should offer them as stock replacements and in the clocked versions.

I would like to see the adaptors in the following:

    350/203
    400/203
    465/203

    350/205 (already made)
    400/205
    465/205

And then offer those in both stock and clocked versions. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

I make the TH350/205 adapter as well.
Made from mild steel, not aluminium as they use alot of salt for roads up here. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

Thanks for the info, I had no idea they were making these. I would defenitely buy one from them before getting one from GM.

To my knowledge there is none to be had from GM anymore.

How much different is the TH400/NP205 adapter to the TH350/NP205? I will convert to either a TH400 or a female 23 spline SM465, just wondering what else will cause a problem with the conversion? I am really leaning toward the TH400 due to stop and go traffic back and forth to work.

I not sure, but I think TH400/NP205 are .590" longer than the TH350/NP205, and have a six bolt pattern than the four bolt pattern.
