can i use a ford 205 for my doubler? i know it would have to be rotated about 180*. but will it work like that? the vents and all. i can get a ford 205 cheap. also, do i need a specific input for the ford model?

The only way we build to use a ford 205 is if you have a LH front axle, if you have a RH front axle, you should use a GM 205. It's possible to turn the ford 205 upside down but it's a really ugly way of doing it, in addition to making everything hard about it. Shifters, vents, speedo, all become problems. A GM case is much cleaner and easier overall.
You can swap the ford input gear into the GM 205 and we can supply you a 31 spline shaft with the Doubler, so that's not a problem. That would save you a good bit of the conversion cost.
    Thanks

go tto use the parts you have access to, but i wont be doing it. i dont want to run a right hand axle.
might run the input gear though.
dont know yet. have a few more leads on a 205 i need to check out.
