    looking for anyone who has ford 9 in blazer. want to gain strenght without losing clarance or going above 35's. will a 9" handle 425lbs. of torque w/35's. what would another option be???

    <font color=blue>Mabye it could, but you would need every upgrade availible. You could get an 9.5" SF and put in 6 lug shafts, but you really should shart thinking in multiples of 8 instead of 6, it makes things easier. </font color=blue>

    Go ahead and give up some ground clearance for a 14bff. You may snag it on rocks some, but don't be scared - just gas it and smack the rock a little - it will take it.
