I've seen several Ford 205 tcases at local junk yards lately that have a female fine spline input simular to the Chevy version behind a th400 automatic. Was wondering if by chance the spline size could be the same - so I could use the Ford input shaft to modify a Chevy 205 to go behind a 400. I realize I'd have to bore the casting for the larger bearing - would that be pretty much it?

The Ford 205 is 31 spline where as the Chevy is 32 spline, good idea but it wont work. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Can't put a 205 with Ford input behind a 400, but you can build a doubler with it. This is what I'm doing...
